Terms of service

Last updated

Welcome to Pendro. By using the service, you agree to the terms below. We've kept them short and plain-English on purpose — if anything is unclear, email us and we'll clarify.

1. Your account

You need an account to use Pendro. You're responsible for keeping it secure (don't share your magic link, use a strong password manager for your Google account) and for everything that happens under it.

You can have one free project per account. Paid plans lift that cap. You can cancel a paid plan at any time and your projects keep working at the free-tier limits.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Pendro to publish content that:

  • Is illegal in your jurisdiction.
  • Infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights you don't own.
  • Spreads malware, phishing pages, or deceptive scams that impersonate real businesses or government services.
  • Sexually exploits or endangers minors. Zero tolerance, no warnings.
  • Is intended to harass, threaten, or target real people for coordinated abuse.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove projects that violate this list. We err on the side of asking first when the violation is ambiguous; we don't when it's clear.

3. Your content

Everything you put into a project — copy, images, posts, custom domain settings — stays yours. You grant us a license only as broad as necessary to host, serve, and display that content to your visitors. We don't use your content to train models or sell to third parties.

4. Our content

The Pendro editor, our 14 starter templates, and the marketing site are our copyright. The templates are licensed to you under MIT-style terms when you start a project from them — meaning the content + structure becomes yours to edit, publish, or even re-license. The editor itself, the dashboard, and the marketing brand are not.

5. Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime. We don't guarantee it. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance on status.pendro.co. Unscheduled outages happen; when they do, we post updates there.

6. Termination

You can delete your account from the dashboard at any time — instant, no questions, no "retain for 30 days." We can terminate your account if you violate the acceptable-use section above. In both cases your data is removed within 7 days and isn't recoverable afterwards.

7. Liability

Pendro is provided as-is. We try to keep the service running and your data safe, but we can't accept liability for indirect damages (lost revenue, lost data, lost opportunity) beyond what you paid us in the last 12 months. If a court finds part of this section unenforceable, the rest still applies.

8. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms occasionally. Material changes get emailed to all active accounts at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
