What the workmanship warranty actually covers
And, more usefully, where it stops. Electrical work meets wiring somebody else installed decades ago, and that boundary is where every argument happens.

Not covered
- Existing wiring we did not touch — we will show you where our work ends.
- Fittings you supplied, beyond our installation of them.
- Work by another electrician on the same circuit after ours.
- Surge, lightning and utility-supply faults — that is an insurance claim.
- A circuit we advised upgrading and were asked to leave.
How to claim
Call the office
You do not need the paperwork — we hold the job file and the certificate number.
We test it
At no charge, and we tell you plainly whether it is our work or the wiring around it.
We put it right
If it is ours, we fix it and re-test. If it is not, you get a quote before anything happens.
